Ingredients
1 can (15 ounces) garbanzo beans (chickpeas), drain and save liquid, rinse beans
1 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
1 tablespoon ground cumin
2 tablespoon olive oil
3 tablespoon reserved bean liquid
1/8 teaspoon salt
Preparation
Wash hands with soap and water.
Place all ingredients into a food processor or blender.
Process together until a smoother consistency.
Serve with whole wheat pita bread, pretzels, or veggie sticks.
Note
1. For a smoother consistency, may need to add additional small amounts of bean liquid or water.
